The biennial conference for European national team coaches will be hosted by the Football Union of Russia (RFU) in St. Petersburg from 16 to 17 September 2014. The joint FIFA-UEFA conference will be the opportunity for all European national team coaches to meet, discuss recent trends and exchange views on the findings from the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The national team coaches and technical directors of UEFA’s 54 member associations will be present at this two-day conference taking place at the Corinthia Hotel, Nevsky Prospect, 57, St. Petersburg.

The focus of the conference will be on the recent 2014 FIFA World Cup and the experience it brought to coaches. The conference will cover a report from the FIFA Technical Study Group (TSG), technical and tactical analysis of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, coaching and football development trends, a tribute to the FIFA World Cup champions, medical matters, and refereeing.

Journalists and photographers are welcome to attend the opening of the conference on Tuesday 16 September at 09.00 local time, which will include welcome messages from Giancarlo Abete, UEFA vice president and chairman of the UEFA Development and Technical Assistance Committee, Vitaly Mutko, Sports minister of Russia and FIFA executive committee member, and Nikolai Tolstykh, president of the RFU. However, the working sessions themselves are not open to the media.

Media will have the possibility for interviews with participating coaches in the mixed zone after the closing of the conference at approximately 12.00 local time.

Media representatives wishing to attend the opening of the conference and/or mixed zone must inform FIFA by completing and sending back the form(s) below to FIFA by 31 August 2014.

A media working area with internet access will be available from 08.00 to 20.30 on 16 September and from 09.00 to 18.00 on 17 September.

Post-2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil technical conferences are organised by FIFA with the different confederations and are open to all the member associations of the confederations concerned.
