Agenda set for UEFA Executive Committee in Venice

Reports from committee meetings and an update on EURO preparations figure in a busy agenda for the UEFA Executive Committee when it meets in Venice on 8 December.

The UEFA Executive Committee, chaired by UEFA President Michel Platini, will hold its last meeting of the year at the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal in Venice, Italy, on Thursday 8 December.

The meeting of the Executive Committee is scheduled from 09.00 to 17.00CET and will be followed immediately by a media conference.

The Executive Committee will hear reports from the chairmen and chairwomen of the most recent committee meetings to have been held at UEFA, including the Marketing Advisory Committee, Youth and Amateur Football Committee, National Associations Committee, Legal Committee, Players' Status Transfer and Agents and Match Agents Committee, Club Licensing Committee, National Team Competitions Committee, Finance Committee, Development and Technical Assistance Committee, Women's Football Committee, Medical Committee, Football Committee, Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee, HatTrick Committee, Fair Play and Social Responsibility Committee, and Stadium and Security Committee.

The other main points on the Venice agenda are:

• Update on UEFA EURO 2012 preparations
• Format of the UEFA European Women's Championship and UEFA European Under-21 Championship
• Appointment of the host for UEFA Futsal EURO 2014
• Programme and agenda for the XXXVI UEFA Ordinary Congress in Istanbul

The next meeting of the Executive Committee will take place on 24/25 January 2012 at the House of European Football in Nyon.
